Do you have an orphan oil and gas site on your property? The BC Oil and Gas Commission is hosting an information session for land owners on April 24, 2019 from 6:30–8 p.m. at the Pomeroy Hotel in Fort St. John.
An Orphan Site is a Commission designation given to wells and associated operating areas when the operator is insolvent or can’t be located. The information session will give an overview of orphan sites in northeast B.C. such as how they are identified, how risk is managed and how they are ultimately restored.
